- Personally, I did not imply nor state that. That is your conclusion. If it is.

- Well, you'll just have to find out. I don't have the answer for you.
- Frankly, I don't think anybody does. We'll have to see what VISCorp
- plans for the platform and the market. Its simply too early to tell.
-

-
- Well, I'm glad you read the IRC logs.
-
- Now, wait a minute. First you say:
-
- >I see nothing wrong with making products for other platforms. They
- >are in business to make money, and what platform has the greatest potential.
- >The PC.
-
- Then you say:
-
- >But there is this nagging feeling that unless there is a PowerAmiga
- >that is sold in large enough quantities, there really wont be any
- >more Amiga upgrades. Reading Mr. Chang's messages said "if". That to

-
- If we are in the business to make money, is there any reason why we
- should treat the Scala Amiga product business model differently?
-
- Also, if you had read the IRC logs thoroughly, you would have ready that
- we cannot add any new features to the existing source code, because one,
- it is highly optimized and that adding any new features would require a
- complete rewrite. Second, adding any new features to the existing source
- code, could make the product unstable. This is one reason why we went
- through the trouble of developing "Scala BackBone(tm)"!
-
- If you want newer versions of our software, then obviously a market
- must exist and at least has the potential of growth. That isn't happening
- right now. You can't put the horse in front of the cart, unless somebody
- is willing to pay for it. :)
-

-
- Well, it seems you are going to have to move along without this knowledge,
- like the rest of us, until VISCorp and/or Amiga Technology says otherwise.
